Casting:

Father Brendan Flynn: Late 30’s to mid-40’s, a Catholic priest. Warm, working-class,
Northeast, Irish-Catholic

Sister Aloysius Beauvier: 50’s – 60’s, a Catholic school principal. Watchful, reserved,
unsentimental; she is probably from the Northeast.

Sister James: mid-20’s to 30, a Catholic school teacher. Warm, optimistic, a touch naïve;
she is not necessarily from the Northeast.

Mrs. Muller: Mid 30’s, African-American, a working class, married mother. She feels
somewhat uncomfortable and out of place in her surroundings.

Audition Type: Readings from the script

Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7
pm until 9-10 pm, depending upon the availability of cast members. Cast members
are called to rehearsals only when needed.
If cast in this production, actors must enroll in a 1-or-2-unit college course.
