As a Student representative I have got the feedback of my class fellows and lecturers.

So far we are progressing quite well in this semester, but there are some small issues I

Would like to discuss

1. In VLSI mode and technology module, we got some problems raised when we were
supposed to submit a course work. The problem is all about the TINA software which
we used in our lab this semester, but due to the schedule lab of other modules which
are held in D421 Lab, every student has to rush to LRC in order to complete their
course work. In LRC students are not able to open the saved file on TINA software
because of the different versions. On behalf of my module leader and some students,
I would recommend that same versions should be installed both in lab and LRC so
students can do their course work with some ease.
2. I have found some of my friends are still worried about the allocation of final year
project (Semester C). As you have already noticed that lots of students were absent
on 16th March 2011 for Project talk meeting. Some of them even don’t know how to
register their self on PLATO forum, some of them still don’t know the deadline date
for the registration of final year project, As a Student rep I have told them to go
through the project guide which can help them to register their self on PLATO forum
but I would like that faculty of engineering and science should conduct one more
session for those students who missed the previous project talk.
