    The Helpline is available 24 hours. Call only if you need help.
    • For the latest information: • If your home has been damaged, you need to
    canterburyearthquake.org.nz lodge a claim with EQC: 0800 DAMAGE
    • Civil Defence information: (0800 326 243). All EQC staff will carry photo
    civildefence.govt.nz or selwyn.govt.nz ID. If approached by someone impersonating
    EQC, please phone the Police.
