Red Zone Full Assessments If your home is in the Red Zone on landcheck.org.nz and you havent had a full assessment please ring us on 0800 dAmAGe (0800 326 243) to arrange a full assessment.
Full Assessments
EQC has completed most of the full assessments in the red zone. The orange zone is next. We also have staff working on landslip issues in the Port Hills white zone. We will give you at least 24 hours notice before we visit your property for a full assessment. If the timing doesnt suit you, we can reschedule. If we have completed your full assessment since 22 February, we will not revisit your property. If your full assessment showed damage over the EQC cap of $100,000 + GST, we will pass your claim to your insurer and discuss any additional 13 June aftershock damage with them. If your property damage was under $100,000 + GST, we will pass your claim to Fletcher EQR to manage the repairs. They will assess further 13 June aftershock damage when they come to do the repairs.
