Visual Cryptography Abstact
Visual Cryptography Abstact
ABSTRACT
Visual cryptography is a secret sharing scheme where a secret image is
encrypted into n shares which are noise-like secure images that can be
transmitted or distributed over an untrusted communication channel. The
image can be reconstructed "visually" by superimposing the shares. In order
to achieve a higher level of security, halftone visual cryptography is used to
encode a secret binary image into n halftone shares (images) carrying
significant visual information. In this project we make use of threshold
arrays generated by void and cluster method. This ensures flexibility for a
combination of shared mages to decode a secret image. Based on blue-noise
dithering principles, we propose a global optimization method to improve
the overall visual quality of all n halftone shares. This method provides high
speed processing and extensibility to (k, n) i.e. (2, 3) or (3, 3) share image
categories. Thus ensuring lossless recovery and reduced noise in the shares,
without any computational complexity
