I love Rock and Roll
My family members are all rock fans. I like the modern rock while my parents
like oldies rock. My dad was in college in the high point of rock and roll during
that decade. My parents are both in a rock band called The Fabulous Jadesmen.
The band got together when they were in college but my mom joined when she
married my dad. I love going on trips with the band because all of the guys are
nice and I get to skip school! I am also friends with all of the other guys in the band
and their kids.

I also like to listen to rock on the radio, my iPod, and Pandora. I have
around seventy rock songs on my iPod. I also listen to the radio when I do chores.
I like singing rock because of its beat. I love rock and roll.
Paintball Maniac
Ever since I was little I have wanted to play paintball. Even though I was not
old enough I still watched. I would look through the netting and see people
shooting guns that shoot plastic balls of paint. I would watch people yell,
scream, and eventually get shot. But I loved it.
But since I’m older now I can play and I do. I get my gear, and drive out
to the park, gear up, paint up, and air up. I will get you. You will not get me. I
cannot be hit.
 Orlando
I’ve only been to Orlando four times but I have loved it every time. I
went to Disney World three times and Universal Studios once. I love going
because of the rides and shows. I like Disney for the variety but I like
Universal for the roller coasters. It’s just so fun.
My favorite ride at Disney is Space Mountain because you have no idea
what’s coming next. My favorite show at Disney would have to be Light,
Camera, Motors Stunt show. Also my favorite ride in Universal was The
Forbidden Journey. And my favorite show was the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad. I
just love theme parks.
Giraffe Kisses
Once I was in Arizona with my family for a vacation. We went to a place called
“Out of Africa”. When you get there you go on a safari ride. You go through a part where
your bus drives around and you see a ton of animals. These animals aren’t in cages. They
just run around inside one giant holding pen. And the cage is big enough for several
school buses to drive twenty minute tours in.
When you get on the bus they give you carrot sticks to give to the animals. If you
save your sticks until the end you can get to kiss a real giraffe! You put a part of the
carrot in your mouth but leave most of it sticking out. You lean out of the window and
the giraffe will come and take it with his tongue. And in the process of him doing that
he feels around with his tongue for the carrot. Warning to all who think this sounds fun:
you will get slobbered.
I love laughing
I love watching things that make me laugh. I watch
the Comedy Channel all of the time. I also love telling and
hearing jokes. My favorite type of joke is either Chuck
Norris or Yo Mama jokes. I love laughing.
One of my favorite comedians is Dane Cook. He is
probably the funniest man alive. I also love anybody who
is on the Comedy Channel. I usually can’t stop laughing. I
can’t wait to see Dane cook when I’m older.
 Magic
Since I was little I have been learning and performing magic. I got my first kit
when I was four years old. I stopped and didn’t do magic again until I was ten.
But during those six years I still watched magic shows and TV shows like Criss
Angel Mindfreak and David Blaine. I’m now eleven and I’m way more serious
about it than I was before.
I have been doing and learning more tricks in the past year and am trying to
start a career as a performing magician. I can now levitate objects that weigh
less than an empty soda can, make a whole deck of cards turn to someone’s
selected card, create light in my finger tips, make sponge balls appear from
thin air, and make a deck of cards disappear, and more. I can also take
someone’s card, put it in the middle of the deck and make it come back up to
the top. I love levitating.
Reflection
Through this project I have learned that it is
better to do the hard work first and that it feels
amazing when you put that last period on your
paper. At the beginning I didn’t realize how hard this
would be. I learned that people think that I am a great
writer. I loved getting to chose my pictures. I think
this was a great since to get t o know myself better.
