Students can listen to the audio file to learn about the artist & painting. Paintings with the white sign
underneath include audio.
Students will choose three paintings that don’t include audio to research on their own. The painting
information can be found on the white sign.
Students can watch this video in the auditorium to learn more about Andree Ruellan. The auditorium is
located to the left as you enter the museum.

Second Life Field Trip Introduction

1. Download “Second Life” software.

2. Create account & avatar.
3. Login & go through the six step tutorial.
4. Go to assigned destinations.
a. Go to art, find Georgia Museum of Art.
5. Start by entering into the auditorium to your left and watch the movie of Andree Ruellan.
6. Go upstairs to look and listen to at least 2 paintings with audio.
7. Decide which paintings you want to further investigate that don’t have audio.
8. Write a couple paragraphs about three of the paintings of your choosing.
