Vision for the Next Five Years:

I am working as a Data Administrator for Emerson Electric, a fortune top 100

corporation. At the same time, I managed to grab an opportunity to complete a Masters
Degree in Information Technology in TUP, the same school where I got my bachelors
degree. With my 22 years of journey in life, I never imagined myself to be the person
that I’m now. Being a professional is an everyday satisfaction for me. Getting respect
from other people brings out supreme pleasure.

Four years ago, I was thinking that having a stable job after college will be
enough to cater our future needs. However, everything seems erroneous with the
present economic status. All is failing and I could be the next one. I want to ensure
everything and much more. That’s the time when I decided to invest again on studying.
A master’s degree could be the key for a secure future and self growth. I want to
exceed what I’m now.

Five years from now, I envisioned myself to be a prominent project manager of

Emerson Electric Corporation. I will be handling numerous projects, small or large in
quantities. I will be a corporate leader, with a determination and hard work that TUP
graduates are well known for. Maybe when this turns out to be real, I may hire
employees from TUP and create technical teams out of them. Being a University
Professor could also be my sideline in the future.

I also see myself working abroad 5 years from now, particularly in the USA
because I’m half American. I will be a Project Manager for a banking firm. I also
imagine myself as a freelance project developer since my Sister already has a small
clothing factory in Hawaii. I may help her out in making her business big and at the
same time, do freelance jobs with medium size corporations.

I just hope that we are still alive five years from now. The 2012 prophecy still
bugs me and I can’t get it out of my head. Only God Knows! But for the meantime, I’ll
do my best to accomplish my dreams and make my vision five years from now... a
reality.
