What is a distribution?

The route by which a company distributes goods.


The path your product follows to reach the end
user & a way of selling a company's product
either directly or via distributors; "possible
distribution channels are wholesalers or small
retailers or retail chains or direct mailers or
your own stores"
Channels of Distribution
 Direct Selling
- A manufacturer develops an overseas channel and deals with a foreign party
without going through an intermediary an the home country.
 Indirect Selling
- The local or domestic channel , when a manufacturer of a country buys Indian
goods through a channel and the middleman acting as the external export organization
assumes the responsibility for moving the product overseas.
