KUCET-2011 : ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
(FOR KAKATIYA & SATAVAHANA UNIVERSITIES)
ICR Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the Common
Entrance Tests (KUCET–2011) for admission into various P.G. and
PG Diploma courses offered in Constituent and Affiliated Colleges under the
jurisdiction of Kakatiya University and Satavahana University for the
academic year 2011-12.
Courses offered under Kakatiya University:
M.A. in Telugu, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Economics, Political Science, Public
Administration, History, Sociology; M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Geology, Mathematics (including
Statistics), Physics, Computer Science; Master of Human Resource Management
(MHRM), Master of Tourism Management (MTM), Master of Social Work
(MSW), M. Com. & M. Com. (Financial Accounting); P.G. Diploma in
Sericulture, Clinical Biochemistry, M.L.I.Sc. and M.Ed.
There is no Entrance Test for M.A. (Sanskrit), PG Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry and
M. Sc. (Geology) Courses and Admissions shall be made based on merit in the
Qualifying Exam.
Courses offered under Satavahana University, Karimnagar:
M.A. in Economics, Sociology, English, Telugu, Urdu*, Master of Social Work
(MSW), M. Com. & M. Com. (Financial Accounting) M. Sc. in Chemistry,
Computer Science, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Physics
(including Engineering Physics & Instrumentation), Food Science & Technology*
* There is no Entrance Test for M.A. (Urdu) Course and Admissions shall be made
based on merit in the Qualifying Exam by Satavahana University and separate
Entrance Test will be conducted by Satavahana University for admission into
M. Sc. (Food Science & Technology) course.

The eligibility criteria and all other details are available in the Information
Brochure. Candidates who have passed or those who have appeared for final
year examination 2011 of the qualifying degree are eligible to apply.
Admissions will be made on the basis of the Marks obtained in the Entrance
Test. Application Form along with the Information Brochure can be obtained
from the Directorate of Admissions, KU on payment of Rs.200/- either in cash
or by submitting a crossed Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalised Bank in
favour of the Registrar, KUCET A/c. Payable at SBH, Kakatiya University
Branch (2262), Warangal. Candidates can also obtain application(s) by post by
sending the Demand Draft for Rs.200/- along with a self-addressed stamped
envelope (35 x 25 cms) duly affixing Rs.50/- postage stamps. This Office will
not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of application form. A separate
Application is to be submitted for each course. University reserves the right not
to conduct Entrance Test in those courses where the number of applications
received is inadequate.

2. Last date for receipt of filled in ICR Application Forms
a. Without Late Fee : 09-5-2011 (upto 5.00 p.m.)
b. With a Late Fee of Rs.200/- : 16-5-2011 (upto 5.00 p.m.)
c. With a Late Fee of Rs.500/- : 23-5-2011 (upto 5.00 p.m.)
d. With a Late Fee of Rs.1,000/- : 30-5-2011 (upto 5.00 p.m.)
3. Commencement of Entrance Tests from : 31-5-2011
