Ability to manage the workers are of interest for us to succeed in business. The main thing we
need to consider is that "all employees have the right". Laws such as the Employment Act, the
Trade Unions Act, EPF Act and the Social Security Act, provides protection to workers. .
Employees also may be covered by an employment contract, that's why every individual who
works to understand these acts. Human Resource Management must actively demonstrate that
they are always paying attention and are always concerned about your employment for the
workers who make an organization forward, rather than machines or products through the
accounting procedures are effective.
Human Resource Management at this time must face the fact that rapid development provides
the meaning that they must always be alert and always concerned about the environment outside
the organization is constantly changing to keep growing.
Human Resource Management is a discussion that is often done since the 1980s. This idea comes
from the United States (such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard)
Human Resource Management is the term used today is an example of the changes that are used
in the past to keep people management. The manager at the beginning of the 20th century, has
been invited to keep the 'importance' of the workers. But in the 1950s, the title and
responsibilities of these managers have turned to the personnel managers, which although it
retains the idea of bringing people to a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from maintaining the
physical well-being of workers. Experts and professional managers are also required to perform
various useful functions, especially in staff recruitment and training.
The role of administrative personnel management involves only a narrow scope, such as humans
are involved in the recruitment and management of records relating to them.
In the 1980's, the title given to the guards in this area turned to the managers 'human capital'.
This title became popular so quickly. Maybe change the title reflects the additional interest
provided to the personnel function and its importance to the success of the organization. It is an
approach to workforce management that is more comprehensive in that it involves activities that
are broader in scope covers aspects of human resource planning, training, career development,
safety and welfare of employees, evaluate employee performance, motivating employees, until
the aspect of discipline and workers compensation.
Now, human resource management increasingly is viewed on par with financial management,
production and marketing management.
KEPENTINGAN PENGURUSAN SUMBER MANUSIA MODERN ERA PERNIAGAAN
Lebihan (lambakan) dan kekurangan pekerja adalah sukar untuk diuruskan. Bilangan
staf/pekerja tidak boleh ditambah atau dibuang begitu sahaja kerana ianya melibatkan
masa dan kos.
Dilihat daripada kepentingan pengurusan sumber manusia di sesebuah organisasi itu perlu
mewujudkan suatu objektif khusus yang dibentuk seiring dengan matlamat organisasi.
Berusaha menarik tenaga kerja yang dedikasi dan berkebolehan supaya usaha mencapai
matlamat organisasi dapat dicapai dengan jayanya.
Pembentukan satu set polisi pengurusan sumber manusia yang jelas supaya dapat
meningkatkan penggunaan sumber manusia secara optimum.
