John Muir Award
Primary 3 are working towards achieving a John
Muir Award through our Local Area Study.
We have 4 challenges –
• Discover a wild place
• Explore a wild place
• Conserve a wild place
• Share our learning with others
John Muir Award
We are tackling these challenges in and around
our local area.
We have been in our school garden, at the canal
area and around the Falkirk Wheel.
Water Safety Workshop
Alan Forrester from the Waterways Trust gave us a really interesting
water safety workshop.

The main lesson we learned was to
Stay Away From the Edge – SAFE!!!

On our first walk Alan had us doing some exercises before we went!
