    Dear Mr. Casais:

    We are in receipt of a letter from the Concerned Citizens of Roselle Park dated March 31, 2011. The letter
    inquires as to whether Ms. Sokol is an eligible candidate for the 2011 election. Ms. Sokol's final contract with
    the Roselle Park Board of Education expired June 30, 2010 prior to her being appointed to the board. Given the
    fact that the results of the election are unknown at this time, it is premature to discuss any potential conflict Ms.
    Sokol may have if successful in the election. Challenges to Ms. Sokol's election to the Board are subject to
    review by the Board of Elections.
