Computer-Aided Instructions (CAI)

Recommendations:

• Should polish the document based on the required format and contents.

• Should develop a complete and working CAI following the acceptable


format and features:
 9. Interactive lessons
 Complete lecture notes (Should be Animated)
 Content / lesson must be “credible” approved by the expert in the
profession.
 With Simulated lectures and topics
 Should include mul timedia (audio, video, agent, etc.)
 Should be interactive
 With drills and practices (randomized questions and updated – Pre &
Post Test)
 With database (Record keeping and Maintenance)
 With hypertext, book marking
 Should include security (Access Level)
 Exams and lessons could be updated as the need arises
 Lessons should strictly follow the sequence or provide two modes of
presentation; one is by sequence; the other one id free flowing presentation
 Provide help and Search Options

• Should incorporate the following standard features


 10. With database (Record keeping and Maintenance)
 Should include security (Access Level)
 Complete Search Module (free type browsing / search)
 11. Complete Report Generation Module (Performance, Assessment,
etc.)
 Comprehensive Audit Trails (for all users)
 Provision for back-up as the need arises
 Data Security and Maintenance
 Should be available on-line or implemented in LAN-based (Client-
Server Environment) – if applicable
