You are required to write a 1000-1500 word report that meets the following brief:

You have been asked to organise an event for a group of managers from the
hospitality and tourism industry who are all members of and work within India's
Ministry of Tourism. Attendance is estimated to be approximately 1000 delegates
who all have a wide range of budgets because they are coming from different types
of hospitality and tourism businesses. The event is likely to last 3 days, with the
majority of delegates coming from within India. The theme of the event is to
introduce regional expert, Mr Singla who will talk about the financial, economic,
social and cultural aspects of the Indian hospitality and tourism market, the recent
trends, key sectors of business and any legal or statutory requirements needed for
businesses to grow and expand. The event will also provide talks on cutting edge
business opportunities, and provide exciting social networking opportunities for all
delegates.

Based on the event outlined above, produce a report of approximately 1000-1500


words which details the following information:

 the likely characteristics of the buyer


 the likely characteristics of the delegate
 the additional suppliers you may require
 the most appropriate intermediary that could assist you in organising the
event.
 a suitable venue for the event, with reasons for your choice.

The report should be submitted on Friday at 5pm in week 11.

Marks will be given for:
 Evidence of research/investigation, including references (20%)
 Content including analysis and argument (60%)
 Clarity, structure and quality of presentation (10%)
 Your ability to demonstrate your understanding of the topic (10%)
