Prof. (Dr.) Mathew J. Chandy graduated and completed his MS in General
Surgery from Madras University in 1971. He obtained M.Ch. degree in
Neurosurgery from the same institution in 1974. he has about 30 years of
extensive experience in the field of Neurosurgery. He has many publications
related to Neurosurgery in the national and global arena. He had many
special training programs in different globally recognized centres in USA,
UK, Spain, Singapore, etc. During his glorious career, he worked in several
hospitals worldwide, particularly in Montreal Neurological Hospital and
Institute, McGill University, Canada as Clinical Fellow, and the Ministry of
Health, Muscat as Head of Neurosurgery Department.

He was working as Professor and Head of Neurosurgery of the Christian

Medical College, Vellore, India, before joining Apollo Hospitals Dhaka.
