Exporting FireFox Bookmarks

Instructions to backup your Firefox bookmarks:

1) Launch Firefox
2) Select Organize Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu
3) Select Export HTML from the Star-shaped Dropdown menu in the Library window.
Save the Bookmarks.html file to your backup volume (flashdrive, CD, server, etc.)

Importing Firefox Bookmarks

1) Launch Firefox.
2) Select Organize Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu.
3) Select Import HTML from the Star-shaped Dropdown menu in the Library window.
4) Select “From and HTML File.” Click Continue.
5) Navigate to the place you saved your bookmarks file.
6) Select your Bookmarks.html file and click Open.

Exporting Safari Bookmarks

To back up your Safari Bookmarks, select the Export Bookmarks command (File-
>Export Bookmarks).

Save the Safari Bookmarks file to your backup volume (flashdrive, CD, server, etc.)

Importing Safari bookmarks

Launch Safari web browser.

Select "Import Bookmarks..." from the File menu.

Navigate to the place you saved your bookmarks file.

Select the "Safari Bookmarks.html" file that you Exported. Click Import.

Once imported, you will find your bookmarks in the Bookmarks Collections.
