Back Ground

Mega Mart wanted to revive its brand image


,so it hired an ad agency for it.The ad agency
came up with brilliant ideas for marketing.They
created ads of all types like audio, video, print
media etc.The task of managing these ads was
huge and they wanted a software developed to
manage the process better.
Application has mainly six functions:-

Entering User Id and password in the Login


screen.
Viewing Advertisement pricing details.
Viewing Strategy report.
Entering Advertisement pricing details.
Budget Allocation by the manager.
All the data should be saved to database
generating unique records.
Display message to the user.
Ad Release Management-Video Process
There are two roles in the Ad Agency i.e. staff and manager.
The staff is entitled to view his own advertisement details
and can enter new Ad details.
The Manager is entitled to view the strategy report, which
shows the details of all Ads entered by the staff and is also
responsible to create new budget for the forth coming period.
The Application has three main pages
Login Page
Staff Report Page
Manager Report Page
Login Page:
The Login screen is required to allow only
validated users to use the application.
The Login screen, allows the user to enter his/her
User Id and Password. On validating the user he/she
is redirected to the next page depending on whether
he’s staff or manager.
In case the User forgets his password by clicking
on the forgot password link, he’s directed to another
page which displays a message stating ‘password
has been sent to his mail id’. This is done only when
the User enters a valid user id.
Staff Page
 The staff after they login can see the data or

ad details entered by them only in descending


order of the applicable rates of the Ads.
 The staff is entitled to enter the new Ad details

only and not allowed to modify or delete any


records.
 Once the details are entered they are saved into

the database.
 If the applicable rate is >budget amount then a

prompt is generated whether he still wants to


save the record else the record is saved
normally.
Manager Report
 Managers are allowed to view the details of the Ads

created by the staff members and they appear to in


the descending order of the applicable rate in order
to allocate budget.
 The manager creates a new budget after viewing the

strategy report where in he enters the details of the


budget.
 The budget allocation page contains budget

amount ,start date and the end date of the budget.


 A new budget cannot be created until the existing

tenure is completed.
 After all the operations are completed the
users whether manager or the staff log out of
their respective pages.
 Once they logout of the page they have to
access them again after logging in by
providing the user id and password.
