Reflection Sheet

Throughout my whole entire high school year, I’ve always promised myself
that I would become a better reader and writer. But not until this year is when I
finally put my effort into my work and actually struggling for perfectness. My
characteristics when I was in 9th grade weren’t that great. All I usually did was try
and pass by with a 70 or at least get the credit. I was a bright student I would say
but I wasn’t the most devoted one. Until finally I realized what I really want to
become in life.

I changed my ways. I saw how hard it is to get through life with a minimum
paying job that’s when I finally started getting dedicated with my school work.
Thanks to Ms. Devaney, I actually started becoming more interested in writing. She
pushed me not only when I had problems but if it wasn’t because of her, I probably
wouldn’t be part on NHS and actually get the chance to be part of the school
activities. In class I knew sometimes I didn’t do great but I knew I had the potential
to fix my mistakes and improve in the future. Now I can write well organized and
synthesized essays and all thanks to Ms. Devaney.
