ROBOTICS

ROBOT’S IN EARLY
HISTORY

The term robot derives from the Czech word


robota, meaning forced work or compulsory
service, or robotnik , meaning Serf
In 1495, Leonardo da Vinci drew plans for a
mechanical man.
Real robots were only possible in the 1950s and
1960s with the introduction of transistors and

integrated circuits.

SENSORS
• Sensors are the perceptual interface
between robots and their environment.
• These sensors capture signals that are
generated by other sources in the
environment.
• Sensors may be camera, radar and laser.
• Sensors have two types
• Active sensor-radar, laser.
• Passive sensor-camera.

AUTOMATIC BRAKES SYSTEM
• Breaks having some stimulator, which
stimulates the EBCM(electronic brake
control module).
• All automatic breaks have EBCM
• ECBM is used to put brakes automatically.
• ECBM is connected with ROBOTIC
motherboard.
HOW DOES AUTOMATIC
BRAKES WORKS
• The sensor monitors the pedestrians and
the other vehicle to certain extent of
distance if they didn’t move the

status every 1 second .
• Then it makes a beep sound and gives
electric signal to ECBM which
automatically puts brake.
