Dear friends,

As we end the year 2010 and begin a new year, we want to express our great
appreciation for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Many in these past weeks
have mentioned His name because of the season, but have no idea of who
He really is. Christ has no impact in their lives. The past year has brought us
the privilege of ministering mostly in Italy, where 58,000,000 people believe
they know Christ but have not received His grace and live without hope each

Loredana had the privilege to work alongside and minister to the missionaries' wives, as well as
translate for the classes taught by women.

What satisfaction it brought to oversee the publishing of two new books in Italian. Working alongside
Bill and Maria Teresa Standridge, the Commentary on 2 Timothy by John MacArthur and Preaching for
God's Glory by Alistair Begg were translated in time for distribution at the Focus Conference.
Loredana's help in the final revisions was invaluable. The ministry of publishing good material in
Italian continues to be of vital importance in a country where few good books are produced.

The Focus conference was one of the highlights of the year, as close to 250 men and women were there
from almost every region in Italy. David had the privilege to preach the opening message and then lead
the conference where Bill Standridge, Alistair Begg and Carey Hardy were the speakers. Loredana
efficiently coordinated the volunteer team, having prepared all the material and logistics beforehand.
Many of the focus participants expressed their gratitude, and the obvious working of the Lord was
demonstrated during the many well-attended and heartfelt group prayer sessions.

Another highlight has been to see the church in Acireale develop from a

Looking at 2010 allows us to rejoice in what the Lord has brought to pass over the past few years.

For the last ten years David has had the privilege to work alongside dedicated missionaries to develop
this ministry. Since the first Focus Conference in 2000, where David was just a participant, he has been
blessed to be able to organize and lead the ten following conferences. Working along side the many
fine speakers, and seeing the lives of so many touched in a wonderful way has been a demonstration to
him of the power of God at work in Italy.

Watching the original dream of Joe and Georgia Aleppo develop into the Italian We always

In the last ten years it was truly the hand of God that allowed us to partner with the Associazione Verità
Evangelica in Rome, headed by Bill and Maria Teresa Standridge. Over twenty impactfull books have
been translated and published during this period of time.

In the month of November, Joe Aleppo met with us to tell us that because of the very difficult financial
situation of Aurora Mission, he had made the decision to release us both from Aurora.

Our hearts, even though saddened by the decision, immediately clung to the wonderful truth that Christ
is the sustainer of all and that all things are done through Him and for His glory.

We have the We are being sustained by the words of encouragement and love expressed by
some of the board members whom we have grown to love, and have had a
duty to serve privilege to work with. Many of the missionaries have expressed their love and
God faithfully, prayers for us. Some of the professors and speakers have also called us to assure us
but we do not of their prayers during this time of transition. We are immensely grateful to God
have a right to for the privilege of having served Him with Aurora for the past ten years, and look
tell Him where. forward to His guidance in the weeks and months ahead, as we seek counsel and
guidance for our future service.

Loredana has continued to have a ministry with many of the missionary wives and other women by
translating daily devotionals for their encouragement and growth. David continues to teach through the
book of Philippians in Sunday School in our church and mentor a young man in expository teaching. We
continue to enjoy weekly Bible study in our home with another dear couple. David is teaching through
the book of Colossians, a great epistle where Christ's preeminence is taught so clearly.

As you can imagine, it is Biblical truth that sustains and guides us during difficult times. David's
teaching in the book of Philippians has prepared us to live joyfully for the advancement of the Gospel
during difficult circumstances.

Please pray for us as we ask God to guide us. Some of the men that served with us as board members
and as professors at the Academy and speakers at the Focus Conference are exploring the possibility of
our continuing to minister in Italy where the need is certainly great. We feel that God has certainly
prepared us and given us gifts that can be used for the advancement of the Gospel in Italy.

Because many of you have been so important for our ministry in the past, we would like to continue to
inform you about the Lord's leading in our lives. Please feel free to share this letter with anyone and to
