ABSTRACT

The study was conducted to determine the performance of Corn, Mulberry and
Napier on the formulated urine fertilizer. The study was undertaken in 2 phases:
Phase I was the formulation of urine fertilizer and Phase II was the pot
experiment testing the performance of corn, mulberry and napier using the
formulated urine fertilizer.

The experiment was laid out followed Randomized Completely Block Design
(RCBD). Each treatment was replicated three times. Analysis of variance was
used to determine the differences among treatments. Results showed that the
formulated urine fertilizer can be used as organic fertilizer.

For Phase II, three crops were selected to test the effect of the formulated urine
fertilizer. Results revealed that formulated urine fertilizer gave significant results
on the following: growth increment of mulberry after 2 weeks; Napier after week
1, week 4, week 5 and week 10; corn after 5 weeks; average number of leaves
of mulberry; biomass of Napier; average number of leaves of Napier; weight of
corn ear; biomass of corn.
