    Operation Control

    Free Alkali (F Al) 45 – 70 points

    Testing and control

    Free Alkali:

    Pipet 10 ml sample drop into graduated beaker, add 5 drops op Phenolphtalein


    indicator, titrate with 0,1N HCL. Total amount of 0,1 N HCL required indicates the
    free Alkali value in point.

    To increase 1 point Free Alkali equal to 1,1 Kg of PK-100 per 1000 liters.

    Recommende for predissolved the material in water before making the addition.

    Handling and storage

    The product is alkaline and should be stored apart from acidic material. Replace
    the container lid after opening the container to minimize water absorption.
