Center Of The Earth

One day my best friend Melissa came over to

my house and asked if I wanted to travel to the
center of the earth with her. I quickly replied
“sure that sounds fun dude lets go”. We hurried
into the kitchen and made ourselves some snacks
just incase we got hungry later. We also packed
flashlights, rope, a first aid kit, and a knife. We
were completely ready for this trip.
So we started our journey, we were walking for
what felt like a million miles, we finally got to this
strange staircase that Melissa said was the stairs
to the center of the earth. The stairs looked very
scary and dark. I couldn’t see where they were
going. I but we started walking down anyways. It
started to get very hot while we were walking
down. So hot that we were thinking of going back
but we figured we came all this way might as well
keep going.
So finally after going down all those stairs we
got to this sandy surface. We looked around and
saw all these people walking around as if they were
zombies but Melissa suggested they might have
been hypnotized and said it wasn’t a big deal.
“This place gives me the goose bums” I said to
Melissa she replied “me to dude” than I quickly
said, “yea but lets keep going” she agreed.
So as we were walking we stopped to talk to
this one sweet old woman that we saw washing her
clothes in a lake. She told us how it was to live
there. She also gave us directions to get to the
center of the earth. She also warned us to watch
out for the evil king who lives around the corner
form the center of the earth. She explained how
he likes to get souls from people that come from
the “lands of earth” she called it. So at that point
Melissa and I were terrified so she agreed to show
us a shortcut so we wont get caught by him.
We went thru this red and yellow jungle and
thru a cave where dogs were howling. Once we got
to a big door we opend the door and there is was
the center of the earth.
Its hot and very beautiful with lava and fire
everywhere. There are peaks and valleys mountains
and oceans of lava. Once we were finished taking in
the whole thing we turned to thank the old lady
who took us there, but she was gone.
We didn’t know how to get back through the
ladys short cut, so we had to go through the evil
kings kingdom. His guards caught us on the way
back and the evil king ate us.
