* Sometimes,we need to access the particular set of records more frequently than others. * Instead of reading that particular set of records, we search for the same set of records in the large database table will lead to time consuming and as well as reduce the efficiency. * To overcome the above drawback we will use the techniq is called Buffering. * Buffering is temporary storage,which stores the frequently used set of records or a single record for quick processing. * Buffering Types * * Full Buffering. * Generic Buffering. * Single Record Buffering. ~ full Buffering: => All the records of Table are loaded into the buffer when one record of the table is accessed. ~ Generic Buffering: => Generic Buffering is nothing but buffering with key. => When a single record is accessed,all the records which are having generic key is loaded in the buffer. ~ Single-Record Buffering: => Only accessed record from the table is loaded in the buffer. * For more info on SAP TUTORIAL Contact Mohammed Hassan Ali.L * * Email id :- mainframehasy@gmail.com * SAP SAP
