Students will spend one clinic day in simulation laboratory during the semester. Simulation clinic should augment and enhance lecture, lab, and institutional clinic through use of role play, case study, and group work. Dress attire should be clinic uniform. Students should bring supplies and equipment needed to care for patients. (BP cuff, stethoscope, pen, notebook paper, lab kit, etc.) Evaluation of the experience: Criteria 1. Student actively engaged in simulation/case study 2. Student provided safe, effective nursing care 3. Student maintained personal safety 4.
