Rubric for Brief Dialogue Activity (Interview)

Participation Weak: 1 Student does not participate. Student has a limited amount of speech in performance. Student does not pay attention to others performances. Student makes many grammatical errors in performance. Student forgets lines, gets stuck, has no enthusiasm, little creativity, and makes many oral grammatical errors. Sufficient: 2 Student participates by speaking at least 3 lines. Student pays attention to other performances. Strong: 3 Student pays close attention to other performances. Student speaks at least 5 lines.

Student makes some grammatical errors in performance. Student knows most of the lines and makes some grammatical errors, but audience can understand most of what is said.

Student makes close to no grammatical errors in performance. Student remembers lines and the performance goes smoothly. The performance is entertaining and clear for students to understand. Students used additional props or technology.
