SPEAKING SECTION (10 marks)

PART 1: Teacher – Student interaction (individually)

In this part of the speaking test, each student interacts with the examiner, using the language normally associated
with the vocabulary and grammar structures worked in the lessons - units. Teacher can do this part by asking
information questions to each one of the students in order to evaluate the awareness in giving personal information.

PART 2: Teacher – Students - (group interaction)

This is the proposal way to evaluate this part:


This examination will be assessed through a rubric sent by Uniagraria’s Languages Department.

First teacher has to ask students organize into small groups (number depends on the total of students in each class),
then teacher must choose two or three questions in order to motivate students to answer them by using gerunds,
infinitives or future forms, trying that they interact between them while doing the task.

SPEAKING ASSESMENT RUBRIC (10 MARKS)

The Assessment Speaking rubric is divided into five bands from 1 to 3,33, with 1 being the lowest and 3,33 the
highest. Descriptors for each criterion are provided for bands 1; 2,25 and 3,33 and indicate what a student is
expected to demonstrate at each band. This rubric is aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference
(CEFR).
