Applied Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, Fifth Edition. Boston, MA: Houghton Mifflin. Course Description This is an introductory course in research methods covering research design, descriptive statistics and inferential data analysis (specific topics are listed below). Competency in high school algebra is a prerequisite. The assignments for this course are designed for use with SPSS software, which is available for use in the USG computer laboratory.
