What is Cross-Curricular Teaching?

Interdisciplinary/cross-curricular teaching involves a conscious effort to apply knowledge, principles, and/or values to more than one academic discipline simultaneously.

Reduce prescription over subject content, Create flexibility to allow teachers to give attention to pupils who are struggling to master the basic skills, Free up time and space to allow pupils to study some areas in more depth, Highlight the connections between the subjects, Give a new emphasis to the development of personal and life skills.
