George Kelly or George Kelley (April 28, 1905 March 6, 1967) was an American psychologist, therapist and educator, best known for developing Personal Construct Psycholog.

Study of individuals, families and social groups, with particular emphasis on how people organize and change their views of self and world in the counseling context.

An individuals behavior and thoughts are guided by a set of personal constructs that are used in predicting future events. Constructs are bipolar categories that people can use to understand the world. A persons processes (behavior and thinking) are channelized by ways that he anticipates reality.
