Setting Up The Numark Omni Control as a Control Surface in Traktor 3

Owners of the full version of Native Instruments Traktor DJ Studio 3 can use the enclosed Numark_Omni_Control_T3_MIDI.tks file to add full Omni Control compatibility to Traktor 3. This file, and the instructions below are only needed for the full version of Trackor. The LE version of Traktor which is included with the Omni Control has the necessary MIDI mapping built right into the program. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Launch Traktor. Open the Traktor Preferences window. In the Preferences window, click the + next to Hotkey & MIDI Setup. Under Hotkey MIDI Setup, select MIDI Setup. In the right-hand pane of the window, click the Load button. In the window that opens, navigate to the Numark Omni Control T3 Midi.tks located in the same folder as this guide. Double-click the Numark Omni Control T3 Midi.tks file. The window should close. In the Preferences window, under Hotkey & MIDI Setup, select MIDI Interfaces. In the right-hand pane, select Numark Omni Control. Click OK. Traktor is now set up to use the Omni Control as its control surface.
