Assignment to be done in groups of 2 students (Groups to be decided by the tutor) This assignment gives you an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to create a brand around a product successfully. Please carry out the following activities: 1. Choose a product from any company where you feel that the product is good but it lacks branding. 2. Adopt that product and plan a re-branding strategy around that product. 3. You could possibly change the brand elements, change/create secondary brand associations and tinker with the marketing program to transform your brand into a successful one. Suggest a complete re-branding package. 4. Using CBBE model, suggest how your brand will climb up the ladder to gaining brand equity and also propose a time frame for the same. Identify pointers (both tangible and intangible) that will tell you when you have successfully developed the desired brand equity. Presentation: The teams will make a presentation of their assignment to the class and answer the questions raised after the presentation. The presentation will be done after the assignment submission.
