She has demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues that face her district and I know that she will be a strong representative for the residents of California’s 50th Assembly District,” said Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. “It is an absolute honor to have the support of such a renowned and well respected leader in California,” said Osborn. “I look forward to partnering with Mayor Villaraigosa in my campaign and once I am elected to the State Assembly.” Osborn has also received powerful endorsements from Congresswoman Karen Bass, and Assemblywoman Julia Brownley who currently holds the seat, as well as former State Senator Sheila James Kuehl. In the most recent fundraising report, Osborn netted a whopping $215,000 in just the first six months of this year, for a total of $294,400 since announcing her candidacy, late last year.
