While this rating carries no weight in your childs overall grade, it is a valuable piece of information about your childs strengths and weaknesses as a student. Student performance in these areas will be heavily considered when recommending students for advanced classes in future grade levels.

This rating scale indicates a childs overall level of academic mastery of classroom content. Exemplary students will be able to manipulate and apply content knowledge in deep and meaningful ways. Satisfactory students will master concepts and skills, but may not be able to manipulate that information in complex ways. Has mastered concepts and skills at deep and meaningful levels. Masters concepts and skills on first attempt or with minimal remediation. Has not yet demonstrated mastery of concepts and skills in this content area.
