Standing Committee has a chance to make history - An appeal to them

If 25 individuals work 16 hours a day seven days a week in a non partisan manner they can get a good consensus bill ready. A large number of volunteers and experts can assist them by working in shifts 24 hrs a day seven days a week. One or more of the standing committee members should come on national TV and make this offer. The bill can then be developed in a modular fashion with a call for structured inputs and a daily report of the progress being posted on the internet. The bill does not have to be perfect as long as it can be amended quickly based on real experience. The cost of delay is enormous. Corruption is killing more children in India each day than any other problem. I am out of India from Aug 21-Sep 4 but if I can help I will do so using email and before I leave if required I can help set up a structured system that will help a consensus bill emerge. It is not about me. There are many people with even better skills than mine who can help the standing committee set up good systems. To these 25 men and women please show some leadership. The country needs you and we are all there to help you.
