The course on Golf management was Started basically to cater to the need for a growing requirement for golf professionals to be gainfully employed in the golf industry to run them as viable commercial enterprise and also contribute to the professional growth of the game.

To create a pool of golf managers to to be employed in the golf courses and to run the course as a commercial enterprise as well as to contribute to the growth and the popularity of the game in the country.

To impart training to the uninitiated to become a professional in the management of the golf business, To c o n t r i b u t e to the creation of a pool of golf managers. To develop a structure of training in which further specialisation and creation of a pool of golf management instructutors to take the basic course forward.

Golf players/professional intending to prepare themselves as golf managers. Fresh graduates/post-graduates who are keen on a management programme with specialization in golf management. Managers already employed in the industry, keen on their professional growth.

Graduates in any discipline with 60% marks, and A handicap of 20 or less, or To clear the playing ability test (PAT), or Persons already employed in the industry with minimum 7 years experience in the managerial position.

Two years which include six-months of apprenticehip at Elmwood College, Scotland. Dual certification on golf management and golf course mangement from Elmwood College, and Certificate on mangement from ISCOM, Pune.
