My Child is 5
5 is active, concerned, and thinking -thats what your child is. They sense they are growing up and seem to like it. Activities with action are important. Stories are good if there is repetition. They are interested in individual and group projects. They are using their words instead of the bodies to express feelings. Since they are growing fast, rest, healthy food, and quiet play time is important.

Calendar
Yeah! The first day is here! What an exciting time!!! When you arrive, take pictures, play with your child, be ready to leave by 8:15 to help us begin the day. If tears occur, thats normal. I know just what to do, so leave your child to me. Children easily forget why they are sad once other items entertain them. Leave sooner than later. Lingering by the door to watch how your child does will prolong the tears. Children can sense if a parent is near, so find a friend to divert your attention, go to the Welcome Back To School Breakfast, and enjoy your day. Have a blessed day! Miss S.
