Did I get the proper length cable for my scooter?

Having the correct length cables and housings will help your Vespa or Lambretta controls work properly. A housing which is too long can kink, introduce extra play, melt against the exhaust, or just make things feel loose. A cable which is too short may not fit, or may not leave enough room for adjustment. The best thing to do is make sure you have the right cable and housing lengths. If you find that a housing is too long, you can cut it shorter, and replace the end cap.
