Scope and Delimitations This study aims to provide a credible and reliable security system that will protect

the house from any unwanted person. This project subjects the concern of the owner who is most of the time outside the house and wants to make sure that it is always secured. Furthermore this research mainly focuses on the use biometrics particularly fingerprint recognition as an access for entrance. It is incorporated by a camera so the owner can identify who tried to enter the house. The device will automatically send the result to the authorized person thru 3G. It utilizes wireless technology and internet connection. It is capable of two-way communication wherein the proprietor can send a message to the GSM module and will appear on the screen. It has a microcontroller that integrates all the other circuits and technologies that will be used to provide the desired features of the apparatus. However this study limits its coverage on the home security only. The device is designed to be installed at the main door of the house. It is intended to hinder any evil plan inside the house. Moreover, this security equipment may not be practical to be installed in the house where there is/are always authorized person/s inside. The system uses power supply so if there is no power supply, the equipment will fail.
