Father Helps January 2006 Newsletter 327 PM ***The Passover 2006 Information Packets are available.

Please write or call to request an Information Packet, if you plan to attend. Passover 2006 will be held April 1st and 2nd.*** Our Father is always there to help you, but you must be knowledgeable in His Word to claim His promises. Never lean on man. Man will often fail you. Our people, Israel, had a bad habit of leaning on the Egyptians. All too often, they were leaning on a reed instead of a firm staff. Always depend on God. He will never leave you, nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Let's begin our study with the conception of Jesus Christ in the Book of Luke. Luke 1:46 And Mary said, "My soul doth magnify the LORD, v47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Develop your relationship with God. He deserves to be respected, trusted, and magnified. He is your Father. Luke 1:48 For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. V49 For He That is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. All future generations are also blessed because of Mary's Son, Jesus Christ. What more help could we ask? Luke 1:50 And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation. V51 He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. Pride was Satan's downfall. God also scattered His children because of their disobedience to Him. But He has promised through His Son that He would gather them. Luke 1:52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. Father exalts His elect. Always be thankful that you have been elevated to the level you can see His truth. The great time of teaching lies ahead, when the Holy Spirit speaks through His elect. Until then, prepare yourself and discipline yourself. That will be the greatest moment in service to the King. Can He use you? Be ready! Luke 1:53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away. It all depends on what you are searching for. If you are hungry and searching for His Word, you will be filled. If you are searching for riches of the world, He will send you away empty of truth. Luke 1:54 He hath holpen His servant Israel, in rememberance of His mercy; v55 As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed forever." The Greek word for "holpen" will translate "He has taken them by the hand to help them". God Himself has guaranteed He will help those who love and serve Him. We can't fail. This promise isn't new. Turn with me to the great Book of Isaiah. Unfortunately, the way some people teach about our Father in this generation, you would think He is the One with red long-handled underwear and horns ready to condemn His children to hell. That isn't His will at all. God's will is that none perish, but that all come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). The choice is yours. Isaiah 41:8 But thou, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham My friend. God is going to promise His divine help. Be careful not to rely on the help of men. It won't compare. Isaiah 41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, "Thou art My servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. V10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.

The Hebrew word for "help" is "azar" (aw-zar'). It means to surround in protection and aid. That protection and aid is there for you today, if you count on God rather than men to help you. Isaiah 41:11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing: and they that strive with thee shall perish. What have you to fear? It is the enemies of God that need to be afraid. They have very good reason to fear. Isaiah 41:12 Thou shalt seek them, and shall not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. V13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, `Fear not;' I will help thee. There is important work to be done, beloved. As it is written in Mark 13, the elect will be delivered up as the Holy Spirit witnesses against the antichrist. With God holding your hand and helping you, you have nothing to fear but fear itself. He will surround, protect and aid you. Isaiah 41:14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee," saith the LORD, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. "Worm" is symbolic of weakness. Without God, Jacob is weak. With God, Jacob is invincible. The harvest nears. Isaiah 41:15 "Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. Jesus Christ is the threshing instrument. Did you know that He is counting on you to assist in the harvest? Jesus will sit at the right hand of God, until His enemies are made His footstool (Psalm 110:1) Who do you think is going to make His enemies His footstool? You are! Does that make you afraid? I would hope not. God has told you through His letter to you how you should act and react when these things come to pass. Isaiah 41:16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel. How precious is it that our Father will be with us? The enemy doesn't have a chance. Isaiah 41:17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thist, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. V18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. How much of the Living Water have you consumed? I am speaking of the spiritual water, which is Christ. When you drink of that well, you will never thirst again. Surrounded with God's help, we will never fail. But what about those who depend on men for help? Let's continue our study in Isaiah Chapter 31. Isaiah 31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! Egypt had a huge army. The Philistines also had a huge army, when they challenged Israel. Did little David have a chariot or a war horse, when he crossed that brook to take on Goliath? No! David had a sling and five stones and the God of Israel with him, when he defeated the giant, Goliath. The God of Israel is all you need with you.

Isaiah 31:2 Yet He also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back His words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. If God is against you or those you are depending on for help, you don't have a prayer of a chance. Isaiah 31:3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not GOD; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out His hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fall together. You don't want to be on this team. Don't count on men for help. God is your help. Isaiah 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, "Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. God doesn't intend to allow Satan to establish his throne in Jerusalem forever. God will fight for mount Zion, and not one stone will be left standing atop another. Isaiah 31:5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it." Father will take Jerusalem away from Satan. Isaiah 31:6 Turn ye unto Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. V7 "For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, an his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin. The images made by the hand of men can't help you. God helps, if you do things His way. Earlier, we talked about the importance of the roll of God's elect. Let's cover what it is going to be like at that time in Daniel. Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Jerusalem will be polluted, when antichrist establishes his throne there. Holy Communion, the daily sacrifice, will be done away with, because antichrist will have people honoring him. The abomination is Satan taking Christ's place and being worshipped by untold millions of people. That that will worship antichrist don't know the sixth trump from the seventh trump. They haven't read God's Word. Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall be corrupt by flatteries: but the people tht do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. The latter are God's elect. They will be strong and accomplish God's plan, because they are surrounded with Father's help. They have nothing to fear, including Satan. Daniel 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. This means that God's elect are not going to have an easy time of it. They may hit a wall now and then, but they will be able to handle it, because they are warriors for God. And most importantly, God is surrounding them with protection and help. Daniel 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. When God's elect are tested, they will receive a little help. Friends, a little help from God is all that is necessary. A little help from God goes a long way.

Daniel 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. God's elect will stick with the truth, until the true Messiah returns at the second advent. At that time, every knee will bow and every tongue confess. Until then, always remember, God is there to help you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Depend on Father's help. In His Service, Arnold Murray
