Step 3. Place a shim between the top cap and D cover and unlock the top cap as shown below.
Step 4. Now twist the top cap as shown below and remove it from the handset.
Step 8. Remove the six screws in the order shown below and store them safely.
Step 9. Use your shim to raise the guts of the handset slightly and then remove them from the main chassis.
Step 10. Lift the shielding slightly and remove the light guide.
Step 16. The internal hands free assembly should simply drop out of the chassis.
Step 17. Use an unplugged charger to remove the power jack and easy flash connector.
Step 18. Remove the microphone with a small flat bladed screwdriver.
Step 19. Reassembly is a simple reversal of the above steps taking extra time to ensure that everything works as it should, and that you have caused no damage whilst inside the handset.
