i downloaded it a week back . I have following observations to share.. It works perfectly well in small and medium font size (from 7 to 20). But when one tries to enlarge the symbol to a font size of say 40, it literally vanishes. Every organisation has a policy to print the docs in a certain font. (We use Century Gothic in my office). When we bulk format the document, we select all (ctrl A) and apply formatting, right? SO when you are using Rupee symbol in document and you bulk format the document for a font change, you loose the Rupee symbol also.
