How to Add / Install New Rupee Symbol Font in your Computer | PCs

This is a tutorial for all those who want to install new fonts in Windows 7 / Vista / XP.
So, regardless the version of Windows Operating System, you can follow the same
procedure to install new fonts in Windows OS.

Here is the step by step procedure to install new fonts in Windows XP:

Step 1: Click on START button and then click on RUN button.


Step 2: Here, type C:\Windows\Fonts and then click on OK button.
Step 3: Once this opens the directory where all the default fonts are saved. So simply
copy and paste the new fonts which generally have tty, ttc and Fon as extensions.
Step 4: Once the copying is done, simply restart your computer.
That is it. Following these steps will help you installing new fonts on Windows XP .

Here is the step by step procedure to install new fonts in Windows 7 / Vista:

Step 1: Once you have dowloaded the new fonts compatible for Windows 7 and Vista
OS, you will realize that these are more like normal installations files.
Step 2: Simply right click on the font file and click on the Install button.
Step 3: This will launch a UAC, so simply follow the instructions like you install any
normal program.
That is it. No doubt, installing fonts on Windows 7 and Vista is far more simpler than that
of Windows XP.

After Restart the Computer follow the steps

 Open any Microsoft Office application (For E.g., Microsoft Office Word).

Select the font type as Rupee or Rupee Foradian.

 Now click on `(Grave accent) symbol. This key is just above "tab" button

in your keyboard.

 You can see the new Rupee symbol in your office application
