    Quick Start Guide

    ROGER UHF RFID Reader System

    1. Install the AS399x Reader Suite which is stored on the CD. 2. Connect the provided auxiliary power supply with the ROGER UHF RFID Reader System 3. Connect the UHF RFID ROGER Reader System to a USB port* on the host system using the provided USB cable. 4. Start the AS399x Reader Suite and press Start Scan in the main window to search for tags. 5. Tags within the read range of the Reader System are displayed on the screen. 6. For further Information about using the AS399x Reader Suite, please review the AS399x Reader Suite Manual.

    This Quick Start Guide

    Note: The provided antenna has a broad bandwidth and is indented to cover the whole UHF RFID frequency span. To achieve more read range an antenna with a higher gain and a more specialized frequency range might be appropriate. The reader system is ready to be outfitted with different antennas to provide maximum flexibility.
