The in-class assignments and the group project are related. You will
remain in the same groups for the rest of the semester. If you are
absent on an in-class assignment day, you will not receive credit (10
points), however, you are still responsible for helping your group to
complete that portion of the group project.

A detailed description of what you are to do for each in-class

assignment will be posted on Bb. Please print these instructions and
bring them with you to class. It is possible for the majority of the work
related to the group project to be completed in class. Some outside
class time, however, may be required on some weeks.
ORAL PRESENTATION

Each group will present their findings to the class in a 20-minute oral
presentation. All members must participate in the oral
presentation. Each group will be expected to provide a one-page
outline of the presentation to the class. The outline should contain
the following information: the first and last name of each member in
the group, the health topic, the target population, and a brief
discussion pertaining to each of the Seven Areas of Responsibility for
Entry-Level Health Educators. Each group will also be expected to
provide a PowerPoint handout (six slides per page) to the instructor.
The order of the presentations will be determined randomly.
