FDLRS Parent Caf

The UF Jacksonville FDLRS program is proud to offer a monthly training session for parents and educators. This will be an opportunity for parents and educators to learn about topical issues effecting their child or students. The topics will vary by month. This service is provided at no cost to families and educators. Registration is not required, though you are encouraged to arrive on time.

ATTENTION-DEFICIT/ HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD)


ADHD is a commonly diagnosed disorder in school-aged children. Inattention and impulsivity can cause significant difficulties both in home and school settings. This presentation will focus on what ADHD is, how it can be treated, and what you, as parents and educators, can do to manage these behavioral challenges.

The UF Jacksonville FDLRS program is funded by a grant from the Florida Legislature and the Florida Department of Education. The UF FDLRS Caf will take place the first Tuesday of every month at 6 PM and will be located at the UF Developmental Pediatric Center.
