REVISION TECHNIQUES

1. Recap Chapters in textbook and try some questions. 2. Focus on examples and key information in your notes and textbook. 3. Read your notes and work through homework questions. 4. Check for chapter/topics where there are weaknesses and give them extra attention. 5. Read and understand example questions. Attempt the same questions on a blank piece of paper, from memory. 6. Reflect on and review last terms test. 7. Learn from and correct any mistakes in your work. 8. Parents can test you. 9. Make short personal notes on chapters/topics covered. 10. Ensure that your work is completed with all the necessary information, questions & working out, to make your revision easier and your work more easily understood. 11. REMEMBER : Revision is much easier and less of a burden if you undertake regular reviews of your work and practice questions regularly.
