Neighbour: CANADIAN DISCO AND FUNK

October 8th at The Pyramid

Winnipeg, MB, Oct. 8th at 9 p.m. at The Pyramid Music First welcomes the disco synth styling of Neighbour of Homebreakin Records to Winnipeg. One part sexy robot and one part aerobics instructor, 25-year-old Matt Dauncey has managed to find the middle ground between music and athletics.

Tickets cost $10 preshow for purchase at Kustom Kulture and The Urban Bakery, and $15 at the door. Anyone attending must be 18 and have valid ID. Neighbour, originally from Calgary and now based in Vancouver, has been a force out west headlining festivals like Shambhala 2009, Soundwave, Bass Coast Project, Astral Harvest, and Summer Break. We are blessed with such electronic music talent across Canada, says Tyson Cormack, Music First Executive Director. Neighbour does nearly all original mixes and dazzles audiences with his synthesizer and electric guitar. Additional local talent performing includes The Family Planners live funk, C.H. Bassline vs. Ill Type. About Music First: Music First is dedicated to delivering the best in underground music talent at venues across the city. Music First has recently gone Non Profit.
