2020 Forty children presumed to be 'third children' were shot dead by the Population Police, early yesterday morning, as they rallied for their rights in front of the President's residence. A Population Police spokesperson declared that the measure was taken in line with the government's strict policy of not allowing the existence of shadow children. Police are also investigating the identities of the dead children.

Police declined to provide details about the deceased children, but eye witness accounts indicate that the children ranged in age from 10 and above. A street sweeper who declined to be named said that several of the children carried signs and placards declaring I deserve a life, End the population law now!, Give me liberty or give me death and more.

Meanwhile, sources say there are signs that the rally was planned ahead of time. Several Population Police were unexpectedly given multiple days off when their schedules were suddenly changed. The Police are investigating a possible hacking of their schedules, by the shadow children so that they would be lesser police presence. Population police are now stepping up their monitoring of computer chat rooms as they believe that shadow children and their collaborators used online chat rooms as the medium of

communication. It is believed that police are following numerous leads from the rally and expect to find many more hidden children. There are also unconfirmed rumors that one of the children killed was the daughter of a high ranking Baron. It is also being said that her body has been returned to her parents. The other deceased childrens bodies are in the morgue, unclaimed by parents who fear possible action by the police. In the meantime, all time of the shooting have been cleared up as steam of workers raced to scrub the blood-spattered side walk in front of the Presidents residence.
